Treating Vascular Patients In Myanmar

Myanmar is a beautiful country, which is rapidly developing its economy. The country has a population of 53 million people with a median age of 27 years. Together with its high local literacy rate – more than 90 per cent – and abundant natural resources and agricultural produce, Myanmar has all the conditions to develop into a leading economy in Southeast Asia.

In January 2016, a team from the Vascular and Interventional Group visited Yangon, Myanmar to offer consultation and treatment to vascular patients in the country. Our Medical Director Dr Benjamin Chua and his team worked with our partners at the Sakura Hospital, seeing patients that had booked consultation appointments and following up on some other cases.

Our team will be back in Yangon from 19 to 24 February 2016 for further consultations and treatments. Do check out www.sgvascularctr.com/myanmar for the latest updates. Myanmar residents looking to book a consultation appointment with us can Dr Pwint Hlawr of Sakura Hospital at (95) 09 262100103 / (95) 09 262100104 or email us at enquiry@sgvascularctr.com
